The other night, I caught up with Mr. Super Moon. First time I’d ever noticed it. Pretty Wild.
Mitchell's Musings
I'm older than most of you, surely. Maybe a little wiser. This is a storage bin of sorts for all things music and otherwise. Enjoy ... and share.
My Brightest Diamond.
Wow. Sublime artistry and music smashed together. Had to share this. So do you.
One of my oldest daughter’s tracks that she has abandoned for the time being. Oddly, it’s still one of my favourites. A different feel from her, some blues/jazz content. It was recorded raw, and this was still an edit. I hear other instruments that would fit nicely (sax, violin, piano solo, etc.). Maybe some day with her.
Jessica has some interesting covers of tracks. Not the easiest choices of tracks to cover, either.
She has many of her own that need to get out there, though.
Well, Jessica grabbed me that night, we scuttled off to a spare room, she ‘commanded’ that we do Young’s classic. So, we did. One take. Nice to have as a memory some day, I hope.
Baseball: From Canada to Uganda
With the baseball season under-way, time for a feel-good story. Last summer, the Ugandan youth team were denied entry to the Little League World Series because of visa issues. They were to play Canada in the first round. Families of the Canadian team took up the challenge months later to make that game happen after all - but not in Williamsport, PA. Check out this three-part documentary. It’s about 30 min. Keep some kleenex handy.
